Who is the Chiro Co?

Meet Dr. Rachel O’Brien

Hi! I am Dr. Rachel O’Brien. I’m from Saint Peter’s, Missouri and a Chiropractor in O’Fallon, MO. I went to Fort Zumwalt East High School (’16) where I graduated a semester early and started college at St. Charles Community College for one term. In the fall of 2016, I went on to Lindenwood University (’19) in Saint Charles, MO. Here at Lindenwood, I was the founding president of the Phi Sigma Sigma sorority, Iota Phi Chapter. It was then, where I learned very quickly that I absolutely love building organizations from scratch. During my time as the founding president, I did a lot of networking, recruiting, member retention, and even correspondence with the University and other organizations on campus. Most of all, I learned that I thrive best under pressure and with a full plate.

During my time at Lindenwood, I had absolutely no clue what I wanted to do after school. I was studying Exercise Science and Nutrition and toyed with the idea of being a strength and conditioning coach once I graduated. I did two summer internships at Premier Pitching and Performance in Lake Saint Louis working primarily with elite collegiate and major league baseball pitchers. As I loved strength and conditioning, I felt my passion lied somewhere else. In my last year at Lindenwood, I had a professor who was a Chiropractor. I had no clue that was a path that was possible with my degree until then. I started shadowing chiropractors in the area and started looking into different Chiropractic programs. Ultimately, I decided to stay local and applied to Logan University in Chesterfield, MO. I graduated from Lindenwood with my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a Minor in Nutrition in just three short years.

I started at Logan University in the fall of 2019. Becoming a Chiropractor consisted of completing a three-and-a-half-year doctoral program, five National Board Exams, and four semesters of clinical rotations. I graduated from Logan University in December of 2022 and have been licensed in the State of Missouri since January 2023.

Why The Chiro Co?

When I got out of school, I had a distinct vision of what I wanted to be a part of and the legacy I would leave one day. I could not quite find a practice hiring that fit my vision and practiced with the same moral and ethical standards I believe in. It was then that I realized I have the passion, heart, and drive to build what I believe in and make my vision a reality. I formed The Chiro Co in February 2023 and never looked back.

My vision within my brand is about as simple as it can be: be a Chiropractor that is truly and whole heartedly patient centered. Patient centered care to me, means being someone who is easy to do business with, really cares about patient progression and happiness with the services I’m providing and focuses on getting patients to the point that they don’t have to come in anymore. I wanted to form something that focuses on being honest with my patients, using current research to drive my clinical decisions within each care plan, and cutting out the cookie-cutter idea that a lot of doctors utilize; because let’s be transparent, no BODY is the same, therefore no one should be receiving the same adjustments, care plans, and  therapies as everyone else.

I hope in the coming weeks to post future blogs about different topics within the realm of chiropractic, rehabilitation, and wellness.
